Historically Imhoff’s Gift was named after Baron Gustav Wilhelm von Imhoff, who granted this land in 1745 to Christina Diemer for the cultivation of fresh produce required by ships of the Dutch East India Company.

From the large deck of this lovely establishment, a variety of birds including the famous Fish Eagle and playful otters can be observed on the fringe of the lake within the estate. During whale season the Southern Right whales can be seen from the nearby beach in Kommetjie.

The spacious studio apartment features a petite Beechwood kitchenette fully equipped with home comforts. This includes a refrigerator, glass top hob (four plate), dishwasher, microwave convection oven, a filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Bed linen and towels are provided. The bathroom is fitted with a spacious bath tub, shower and 110V/220V shaver plug. The floor is tiled with Italian porcelain tiles giving the room a very cosy feel.
